I graduate in May 2026 with my MSN-Ed, I'll have been bedside in this position for 3 years at that time. I would like to get into research, specifically medical devices & pharmaceuticals. Once I land a research role I would like to work on my Doctor of Professional Practice (DPP) in Regulatory and Clinical Research Management. My question is: Does this plan map out accordingly?

Post egg retrieval, and my doctor says my thyroid levels are a bit high for what he wants to see for FET, so he has me on medicine to lower it before it’s time for FET. Has anyone else experienced this? Was it caused by all the IVF shots? Will this be a long term issue?

I work in a firm that is known for litigation defense. I’ve been developing my own plaintiffs practice as well. I am able to pay the bills with my hourly defense work, which gives me time to focus on a handful of high value PI case a year on contingency. I was recently negotiating a case and was told part of the reason the claims rep/OC was jerking me around was because they didn’t see me as a plaintiffs attorney. Is there any way to change this perception or does it just come over time?

I just defended my first depo and I feel like I did a terrible job. The questions and answers were so fast I feel like I didn’t even have a chance to think what objection was appropriate. Any resources for learning objections better. Or tricks on how to tell when a question being asked is not good?

Earned my CPA about a year ago. Am I wrong in thinking it might have been a waste of time? I don’t intend on staying in accounting after this year.

Is it true Deloitte is not sponsoring H1B visas? I have a friend considering joining as an SC after MBA. However, they are concerned that Deloitte is not sponsoring. Are these fears correct? How does this work from a recruiting perspective? They would be hired as an off-cycle campus hire via PPMD referral, not within the standard pool of campus hires. Thanks!

Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.

What was the hardest class year for you? I used to think first year was by far the hardest but now I’m a third year and I’m really feeling the pressure to step up. I work in finance and at this point I’m expected to handle closing documents, manage first years, draft some portions of major docs, etc. I feel like I’m always frazzled, constantly second guessing if I handled something correctly and anxious to answer calls from clients/OC. The worst part is I think people can tell I’m a mess....

Was recently offered a job in Hawaii that would be a much larger role than I currently have (deputy chief architect). The downside is the cost of living is nearly double my current location and I would only be getting a 40% pay increase. Do you think it’s worth giving up quality of life/spending value decrease to accept the larger career and possibly expedite my career progression?

Graduating senior. Have choices between MBB and SWE at FAANG. Not sure what to do. Long term I’d love to be in a small startup or a leader in a tech company. Not sure which path is better for that. Any thoughts?

Opinion: Giving legitimacy to conspiracy theorists by providing them with a platform is incredibly irresponsible and selfish.

They tell us not to eat time but then say if we go over the minimum hours that work will have to be reallocated...why don’t the higher ups understand that there is no one to reallocate the work to...
