Los Angeles Area comp for 2nd year asset management?

I was just offered a sales consultant role at a spirit’s distributor 65K with potential to make 75K if I meet goals etc. My dream job @ Red Bull, Similar role but way more fun around the same range of $$ possibly slightly more ..am still waiting to hear if I made it to the final round. I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

What would be suggested for long-term growth? Doing growth-related data science at a private equity firm or a role as a monetization pm in a FANG-related company? What are possible growth areas after the job at a PE firm? I'm concerned that a career in PM would plateau.
