I am working as linux server administrator it's been 2 years and I am not interested in this role. It was a college placement and had bond so couldn't leave. I have keen interest to work as a software test engineer. I have done software testing internship. What would you suggest, I have to do should I leave my current job and search for job.

3 Things to keep in mind which changing jobs:
1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.
