High Street Bank vs Small Bank (3 Billion Assets)– Brand Value? (UK)

Looking for views on market perception.
Background: 10 years Big4 (left as Manager) → Lloyds (VP). Now offered a £95k role at a smaller bank, reporting to the CTO, covering AI & Risk (2nd line).
Role is remote, office once every 2 months, with all travel + hotel fully reimbursed.

Big banks win on name recognition, no doubt. But smaller banks often win on impact. Reporting to the CTO on AI & risk isn’t a “side role” — that’s shaping how the bank thinks about control and accountability. If you frame the story right, market participants usually get it. We can see all the regulatory control happening. Only for you to decide.

Hi All, I have an urgent query regarding TCS BGC process. My issue is that I have worked in X, Y and Z companies.
In X company I worked for 26months but my pf account is there for last 13months, before that my salary was very low so sometimes I got salary in hand or in pay cheque. I do have salary account statement for most of the months except 3-4 months in between my tenure. Will I face any issue for this?
Note: I do have good relationship with X company.
Please give your valuable suggestions.

When renting a condo from an owner, I was asked to pay a $150 move-in fee to the building which I thought makes sense, but then I am being told to also pay a $500 non refundable move in fee to the owner but he is not wanting a security deposit. Is this normal? Seems like $500 down the drain but not sure if this is normal

Hi Guys,

I have completed my tech interview rounds with UBS and have received email for fitment round.

Can anyone share what happens in this fitment round on interview?
HRs have asked to submit documents even before this fitment round; which seems unusual. Is this normal for UBS and this is how they progress?

Thank you.
