If you mean how long it will take for robots to become a common part of life, I suppose it depends on what the robot does. Things like robotic vacuums and lawnmowers are kind of cool, but don't really deliver anything that great. But if robots can get to the point of doing substantial work as part of everyday life, I assume people would take to the idea. I guess we're all waiting for the Jetsons to become reality, and it's sure taking a long time.

Wow this is really cool to see OP. It makes me feel really old though because we didn't have anything like this when we were there age. It is crazy how far technology has come and how different kids are learning in school compared to when we were their age.

I’m a first year associate (almost second year). I work at a national firm and I’m not a litigator. When I started with the firm, I was told I could work out of any office. Long story short, I regret choosing the office that I chose. I’d like to transfer to another office - is that a difficult ask? I’m licensed in the state I’d like to transfer to. I don’t know how to make this request.

An agency I freelance for wants to hire me full-time. They told me for a Sr Copywriter, 100-110k. I countered with 125-150.

I also said I'm interested in a higher-level title - I currently freelance as a Creative Director of Copy elsewhere (they don't have that title at this agency.)

They came back and said yes to the title and to 125, with a 6 month review that could raise it to 145.

Which is good for Sr Copy, but low for CD/ACD level. Don't want to screw myself over. What to say now?

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.
