Ended up getting a PhD in deep learning focusing on drug discovery using AI. Making most of the phd in my current role.

Studied Mechanical Engineering, but been in consulting since graduating 3 years ago!

like

Consulting definitely has its ups and downs! I used to be more focused on RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for my clients, but recently transitioned into a role focusing on Cloud services. My day-to-day ranges from helping clients obtain better pricing for cloud services to helping with actual AWS or Azure implementation.

Overall, consulting varies greatly in the nature of the work, but as long as my hours are somewhat reasonable, I quite enjoy the variety and fast-paced nature of the projects.

Recently just graduated, but I am currently working in the Aerospace field

Cheers!

I work in the Heavy Manufacturing Industry (Building Locomotives) as an Additive Applications Engineer!

Got my undergrad degree in ME but working in the financial sector. If I stuck with ME, I probably would’ve went with HVAC design for commercial buildings, but I sold out.

I work in semi conductor, developing and researching in the memory storage field more precisely.

Hi Folks, I am in business consulting, risk analytics at manager position in EY. I am currently serving notice. Initially they refused to waive off my notice and now they are asking me to leave abruptly and pay the recovery amount. When I checked my offer letter I couldn't find any such clause that says I need to pay. What can be done?
Attaching screenshot for reference. This is pure employee harrasment.

Hey fishes,
Im facing a dilemma. I have two offers in hand:
1. PwC (offshore model) - Risk advisory (IT audit)
2. Goldman Sachs - Internal Audit (Securities Tech).
Both jobs are offering me almost the same overall compensation and benefits. I have around 2.5 years of experience in the field at a B4 firm. Is this a good time to switch to industry?
Please help me choose between the both. TIA.

I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.

Is there a big difference between MEng and MS degrees? Or about the same?

I started off looking in going into Mechanical Eng but now looking more into Civil & Environmental.

Is anyone here willing to provide insight about job prospects between the two fields?

Or any other advice?
