How can I find fully remote work? My partner has to move abroad for her job and I’d love to go with her (tbh it’s always been my dream anyways)

That might be difficult. Remote jobs have become pretty scarce across all industries in the past year or two. And finding a remote job with an international angle can be exceedingly difficult. Many companies can only employ people in certain countries because of tax and other regulations. Plus, there are legitimate security concerns. A lot of overseas workers are actually employed by third-party vendors who contract with US base companies, because of the tax and legal ramifications.

Any other, more helpful views?

I have fully remote work. I found a small firm on LinkedIn that was looking for contract attorney, did that for a while, and they offered me FT. It is a mostly remote firm though. Only 4 people in-office everyone else is remote. The contract attorneys (like I was) are self-employed so that can work from anywhere. We have a few attorneys working from Europe. Our remote support staff is in S.America/Asia/Africa so they are employed by a PEO.

Potentially something like a fractional GC role?

How to deal with people flirting with you at work.
I’m married, and one of my coworkers flirts with me. Nothing super overt, but definitely not professional. We’re good friends and work together constantly because we’re on the same client, so I don’t want to make it awkward. Do I just do nothing and let it go? It is mostly just odd I’m not super offended, but I’m also clearly uninterested!

I am lead counsel on a case - we’re suing 3 businesses and my supervisor is a named incorporator of one of the businesses although he is not an officer. He is asking me to bring the file and meet with him about the progress of the case. I reminded him of the conflict and he stated that the conflict was resolved because he also has a claim against 1 of the companies that he recently filed separately. I don’t see how that resolved the conflict…and he’s fully pressuring me to meet. How to respond?

Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. I'm grateful to have lots of good work but not sure how to course correct.
