I am traveling out of town for callback interviews. One firm wants me to commit a full day of interviews. Would it be reasonable to ask for a half day so I can fit 2 callbacks in the same day?

So, a recruiter sent me a HackerRank assessment and I went to complete it and it was so easy? Is this a red flag or a shit test or something? Like there was a number sequence: “1234567”, and it corresponded to a word: “Surgeon”. Then it was the word: “Snore”, which corresponded to “36425”. and then I had to figure out the number that corresponded to: “Rogue”. It just seemed too easy, why even have it besides creating another barrier to a possible offer? Should I tread carefully here?

I have one query, i received survey mail from ey gds regarding joining date and location preference, so it mean iam selected or any other round happens? Because i give self recorded video interview on 7th feb and i recive survey mail on 7th March which i filled on same day and in joining date there are two options 25 March and 25 April ,wheres i select 25 april but there is no communication after survey mail so what should i do?

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

For those who have gone through Mck First Round/Final Round - could you talk about how the interview took place? I am a bit worried as it might be hard to connect with the interviewer when the process is not in-person. Did you have a phone call or a Zoom call with video, and did it feel awkward? OC has an issue with a financing term that deal teams worked out. Is it unethical to ask deal teams to discuss these terms and instruct us how to proceed? These seems to be business term where counsel can’t work out the differences, without business agreeing.

I believe it's the employees personal matter and nothing to relate on job prospects (this is what i got as a reply from my previous employer)

Those who are voluntarily returning to the office — how often are you going and what days seem to work for you? Looking to slowly incorporate a few days here and there for change of scenery etc. — will add there is no pressure to do so (yet).

I know some of my colleagues are recording their standard fees as time so that it counts towards their billable hours. It infuriates me but am I just being naive by not doing the same?

Any advice on how to deal with a partner/boss who is shifting all responsibility to me with zero guidance, no mentoring, and an unwillingness to discuss the issues? (Small firm, only associate under this partner and have been working at the firm for 2 years).
