How common is it for companies to use AI screening tools to skim through applicants to auto reject them? Feel like I get some rejection emails way too quickly after applying

I think it's actually really common. Probably more common than manually reviewing things by humans. I'm getting a lot of automatic rejections as well and there's no way they can be reviewing them that fast.

Tbh I do understand it. Must save quite a lot of time!

I think pretty common. Companies have been using some form of bots to screen resumes for years now. AI just gives it slightly more critical thinking skills.

It's the most common thing. I think like 90 percent or more companies are using these AI bots now.

Only going to become more common!

I joined TCS just 2.5months back and unfortunately my hr informed me that my bgc is negative. The reason is I didn't show them the past experience of 2 companies in which i was for a very short period time, and those 2 companies were MNC's. I have given them genuine reason that why i didn't mention it in my resume and also have given the experience letter of those 2 companies as a proof to TCS. Will they still ask me to resign?

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.
