Hi fishes, I declined the offer from Pwc AC bangalore on July 28th by sending an email to HR, communicated the same to us_pwc_ac_bangalore_recruitment_services@pwc.com. But I keep getting these emails to complete pre-hiring formalities and daily reminders for the same. How can I make them update the status in system? Also are there repercussions of rejecting an offer. I rejected 3 days after acceptance. PwC Pwc AC

I had a similar account once, and what helped was being honest but diplomatic. I told my lead that juggling too many accounts was hurting quality and suggested which ones I could focus on. By framing it as wanting to do better work, I was able to step back without burning bridges.
How did they respond?
I would talk to your supervisor and discuss what you're going through. Don't complain/whine or demand to be taken off the account, but be honest about the burnout you're experiencing. I've said things like, "If there is someone else who's looking for a challenge, I definitely feel like I'm not as effective on this brand as I used to be, and a fresh perspective would be great." And that usually never means immediate change, but eventually they'll switch you off with no hard feelings. Good luck!
I see, so never request to be off the account directly? If I did you think that would backfire ?
Do you think it's a problem that can be fixed? Or is it beyond fixing at this point? In this kind of situation, I just talked to my supervisor and let them know what I'm dealing with. Sometimes we workshop things, sometimes they are reassigned, and sometimes the client is fired.
They know the issue is a mix of client and current leadership.. they know exactly what’s going on. I just don’t want to come off as a quitter
That will depend a lot on the people you work with and how they’ll take it. The best case is trying to frame it as you can focus your strengths on the best projects for it. You just want what's best for everyone and not just to escape that project. Even though it’s honestly so hard working on one that is a mess.
Yea it is definitely trying to escape the sh*tshow. It’s taking a toll but don’t want to come off like I’m running away or not capable either
If you’ve tried the solution-focus approach and not seen traction and your leadership is aware, it’s OK to ask to be removed from the account. People do it all the time. But just know that those moves don’t happen overnight. On my team, the right other piece of work needs to come along, or the right situation (roles/skillsets) needs to present itself to swap people across accounts. I’ve never seen it as someone running away or quitting if I’ve seen the effort they put in on the account or to help fix problems. Sometimes different people with a different set of eyes or even demeanor can just be a better fit. That doesn’t mean you aren’t great, it just means there’s other work that might be even better for you to showcase your abilities.
