How do you know if it’s time to switch jobs or just push through a rough season? I’ve been feeling a little stuck lately but can’t tell if it’s just normal growing pains or a sign that I need a bigger change

Something to consider is whether you feel there's any opportunity for advancement in your current organization. If there is, then it might be wise to tough it out through a rough season. But if it seems like there's no path ahead from where you are, you might want to get serious about looking for a position elsewhere.

Depends on your long-term goals. How long have you been at this job? If the job is not helping you get there, go look for something else. You need to evaluate where the pain is coming from and then try to plan next steps.

Figure out what is making it a rough season. Are those temporary or long-term? After that, depending, start looking and see if other internal or external roles have fixes to those issues.

Every time I feel like this, I take some paid time off to take a step back and evaluate why I'm feeling that way. I've learned that it's really hard to figure it out when you're in the thick of it. But when you step back and remove yourself from the job, you can usually gain some clarity on what it is you're truly feeling.
