What’s the biggest difference between a Brand Director and a Director of Marketing & Communications?

Is this agency side or brand? Brand side - this Will depend on the industry and org structure but based on my experience, brand directors are the brand owners - they’re helping to drive marketing and connect all of the cross functional teams (product, innovation, commercial, legal, etc) and the owners of the brands budgets. A director of marketing and comms sounds like a comparable role but perhaps more focused on marketing and likely PR based on the comms title.

If agency side, this is prob account vs new biz/PR

EAs who manage people / have direct reports -- did your title change when you took on people management? What is your official title now?

(Context - trying to decide what title to recommend for EAs in our org who now manage people. Currently, we have multiple levels, but all EAs have the "Executive Assistant" title regardless of seniority / level / manager status.)

Very specific to retail and/or hospitality in-house roles: has anyone found a good solution for predictive scheduling? Our retail division has one set of software for scheduling and one for payroll, and neither of them can handle predictive scheduling compliance issues unless they’re used for both the scheduling and payroll functions. I’m coming up empty on ideas for them to bridge the gap, but I’m also new to my compliance counsel role, so I would be overjoyed if anyone has suggestions.

Hi Fishes, I need your advice!

I joined CG 6 months back and was on training for 3-4 months for Dynamics CRM, completing multiple MS certifications. Post that I was mapped to an account for the project & was under shadow.

After shadow completed it seems like there's no project openings in the account for which I was selected. And now management wants me to go for other certs.

Please help me know whom can I approach & ask for project openings/tagging. I'm worried as it's already been 6 months!

Please help! I'm looking for writing terminology. At our agency, we are getting more into creative writing vs ... executional writing? Please help me find the right term. Creative means developing the big idea (concepting), writing scripts and headlines with flair, etc.) for an awareness "hook" and then the other camp, which includes brochures, one pagers, banner ads, sales sheets.

What should we call the other type of writing? (Cont in comments)

I’m looking for brands and interesting campaigns that communicate and showcase transparency, trust and openness.

Ideally any interesting integrated comms that came out of it?

Thank you!

Question: I’m new to all this so sorry if this is so obvious. How often do mid to large size agencies contract work out to smaller ones? And what’s the best way to go about starting that relationship?

Campaign Roll Out / Cadence

I want to get smart on best ways to plan content / paid media over time. I have Julian Cole's template from his 'Framework Factory' - kinda helpful but I always default to a "pre / hero moment / post" cadence and it feels lazy/unoriginal.

Are there books/articles/classes that unpack high level scenarios? Any particular agencies that are masterfuI at this? Don't think I need to get into the nitty gritty of media buying but it'd help to understand basic principles
