My faith has definitely influenced how I approach my job, especially in terms of ethics and treating others with kindness and respect. It's important to me that I stay honest, fair, and mindful of my responsibilities. It also helps me maintain patience and perseverance when facing challenges at work.
Love this perspective M1!
Honestly, not great. I genuinely try to stay calm and kind, but my patience is constantly tested by colleagues issues (minor nags) and an ongoing fear of project failure—mostly stemming from my colleagues’ lack of faith. While my own faith keeps me grounded, it also makes the arrogance and ingratitude around me stand out even more 🥲
I feel that - at the same time the consciousness about others actions and the struggle is part of navigating faith through tests & trials
My faith has helped me stay grounded when it comes to work. Knowing that this is not the eternal world and that everything here is temporary, has helped me to not over-stress about the work. Also, it’s helped me find the right balance with work. I’m involved with community work on the side and that’s due to my faith helping me prioritize things that are important to me and not make my life all about my job.
This is really important, thanks TSM1 - beyond a job there is so much and this is all temporary.
