Help me get comfortable with turning down a massive increase in salary to stay with current firm/look for other similar opps because I don’t want to join a potentially toxic environment. I’ve heard mixed reviews but there are enough red flags and I’m not in a position to make any “mistakes” in my career (older, about to have a mortgage and a baby). Anyone else been in this boat?

Legal discovery question for California: can we serve a plaintiff in a related case by depo notice or do we have to subpoena? We are defense counsel for case A. Case A and B were deemed related by the court. Cases have not been consolidated yet. There are 5 related cases. The Court ruled that depositions are to be global—meaning all counsel from the other cases can ask questions to the deponent. We want to depose Plaintiff in case B.

Can you leave earlier than your notice period? Situation: Despite originally planning to do 2 weeks, I was asked by my boss to stay on for an extra week. I should’ve said no … but I didn’t and now I regret it. HR knows it’s 3 weeks, is there anyway I can leave at the end of 2? I’m currently at 1.5

Hello all, so I currently am 24M working at tmobile. I just found out my store is closing at the end of this month. They're offering to transfer me but simply put I know for a fact I won't see as much traffic coming into the store so less potential for sales. I'm looking to find a good job to transition too. I do have my life and health insurance license but I didn't like what I did before. Any suggestions on good sales jobs or what to look into? I'd appreciate the help, thanks!

Just finished an interview for an AE role at a high-growth SaaS organization.

The interviewer told me that their quotas are very high - barely any of their sales reps hit quota YoY. They mentioned, “goals are high to push our reps. hence our YoY growth”
