I would probably give it at least a week. Anything less than that seems a little bit pushy. After seven days, I might call and follow up about your application and express your interest.

Honestly, 3 days isn’t too long, especially with corporate hiring being slow this time of year. I’d give it about a week before following up. Since you don’t have the manager’s direct contact, you could call the store and politely ask for an update. Shows enthusiasm without being pushy!
Three days isn’t too long. Do you have an email address for the hiring team? If so, it’s better to send a follow up email. If not, wait until Tuesday or Wednesday of this week to call. You want to look like you want the job without bugging the manager.

This is old school, but we used to say to follow up with an email within 24 hours. Best thing would be to get a card/contact info during the interview, and send a short note thanking the interviewer and re-stating your interest. Yes, that can be difficult to do anymore, especially when the person or people interviewing you very likely don't have final say. Under the circumstances, probably calling after a week is the best thing to do.
