I’m the sole recruiter in our HR team w/ 2+ yrs of exp. I’m interested in helping build out the recruitment processes at our company as it is a bit newer. I feel confident in my day-to-day recruitment abilities, however w/ only 2 yrs exp I feel I lack the proper knowledge/training to fully create a well-mapped recruitment process.

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?
