Typically nothing.

Do you at least get to request needed supplies and the school then purchases them for you?
It depends on the year. Maybe $150 to $200.
We send parents a supply list for many consumable items -- pencils, tablets, tissues, crayons, etc. The school administration receives a certain amount for classroom teaching aids and material, and teachers make up the lag out of our own pockets.
Does anyone actually get cash in hand? I worked for a charter school for a while and we always got monthly stipends for school supplies. We never got anything up front tho so everything always came out of pocket to be reimbursed later. And no the stipend was never enough, because of course.

That seems generous, I think as a team of 4 classrooms we got a total of $1200

Nothing? Honestly have no idea what our budget is.

You need to ask! There are always funds, they hope people will just spend their own money but you do not have to and should not!
It depends. About 250 (spread out between semesters) from the district and 350-400 from PTO.
Our district provides all school supplies for students.
35 years, no $$ for personal use in classroom. However, for the last 27 years we can get regular classroom supplies, like folders, staplers, and paperclips.
$10 per student. But student’s get a list and bring their own supplies. (Folders, notebooks , pens, pencils, colored pencils, scissors, etc)
Depends on the year but I’ve received between $250 - $500. CoTeach classrooms get more.
400$, turn in your receipts. I just had half of mine rejected b/c it wasn't appropriate for my classroom!!!! They were books so I could answer questions.
