How much of the job description do you actually need to meet? I'm applying to jobs that feel slightly above my current level, and I meet most of the requirements, but not all. Should I still submit my application?

I've heard recruiters say if you're close to meeting all the qualifications in a job description you should apply. Most recruiters know that not many people will comprise absolutely all the qualities they're seeking. You should be judicious however, if there's a qualification that seems like it would be major and you don't have it, then you should probably not apply. But if you're good on the main points, go for it.

I used to hold back when I didn’t match everything, but once I started applying anyway, my response rate went up. It really can be worth the try.

My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked. Has anyone found a way for the NRC and Workout app to run simultaneously (pun intended)?
