Crossroads Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. I have been with the organization almost 6 years and have accomplished achievement of my MSL (Masters Strategic Leadership) and LOVE the organization…BUT…I am not having any success in moving into a new position…my interviews are great experiences but it seems to be a pattern of not being selected yet encouraged to continue applying…received information from a mentor/manager to ask for candid feedback…when is enough…ENOUGH??

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Hi all,
I'm serving Notice period and last date shall be 13th May 2022. Can someone help me understand if the bands and compensation isn't release by that date, will that be adjusted in full and final settlement?? If so, what about the components, which all shall be credited in that FFS?
Thanks in advance.

Titles are not going to be consistent across companies, but at my corp counsel/senior counsel are non-director roles. I would guess this would be equivalent of manager / sr. manager at most places. The next step up (managing counsel) is director level and above that (AGC/GC) are VP and SVP.
I don’t think so; being a “manager” I think has some kind of technical HR purpose but when it comes to salary/bonus legal is in a different framework.
At my company we are all just Counsel until at least 10 years to Senior Counsel. Only a handful are above Senior Counsel as Managing Counsel (obviously management role).
At my two in-house gigs, counsel was equivalent with manager. Senior counsel was equivalent with a director role. It’s sometimes hard to equate, but you can compare pay bands and years of experience in the job postings to sometimes discern the equivalencies. Good luck!
Thank you! Presently at my current company, manager bonuses are low and set pretty low and it’s impossible to change bonus structure at counsel level no matter years of exp so just trying to see if structure is vastly different at other places!
