HubSpot as an ATS?

I just started a new head of people ops position with a health start up a few months ago. I bring tons of experience implementing large scale recruitment CRM & ATSs to scale.

This new company uses HubSpot as an ATS. Does anyone have exp using HS in this capacity? I struggle to see it is as the right tool long term. The CEO is SOoo pro-HubSpot. It’s been the single biggest hurdle to manage. Wondering if I need to just get on the band wagon…or die on this hill?!

Last year when Covid broke, I received a couple of interview calls but ignored them as I felt the organization kept me at work when other companies cut short their HR staff so I should be with them even if with no appraisal. But now, I was living in the fool's paradise when I am told to leave with no job offers in hand, car and home loan, dependent parents, expecting jobless spouse with a 3-year old kid.

Which navigation apps do you prefer using besides google maps for driving long distances?

Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Should I be concerned (I.e., will this reflect poorly on me, come review time? Will I have dug myself too much of a hole if I keep burning my non-billable hours?) I’ve been asking partners if I can assist in any projects so I can fill my plate, but I’ve only gotten small (4-6 hour) tasks handed my way.

Can someone suggest a plant for my bedroom? It’s a huge bedroom, space is not a concern, will put the plant beside an east facing window. Preferably something that I can find at Home Depot.

Hi. I’m relatively new to recruiting and my role is primarily in supporting recruiters. I’ve noticed that even when I include a specific request or call to action, that my emails receive a response less than 50% of the time. Is this lack of responsiveness indicative of company culture or more about the culture of recruiting, since they receive so many emails? Thoughts? I’ve not experienced this rate of responsiveness in any organization I’ve worked for. I am beginning to take it personally.
