Probably “recruiting culture”! I assume you’re talking about response rate from new, perspective candidates - in which case that is a great rate (depending on industry and niche). Reach out to marketers or communications dept on this, they *should* be happy to support
Don’t take it personally, take nothing personally when working in this field. Recruiters stay on the phone all day long, or we respond to high priority emails coming from clients. If you want a respond right urgent in the subject line.
Recruiters are juggling many balls and usually focus on the highest priority action items first. If you have something urgent for them, send a slack message first to give a heads up or mention something verbally face to face or in a meeting. We’re flooded by candidate emails and applications. Emails usually denote that it’s not urgent so maybe start to find a new way to request urgent items
