I accepted an offer with a June 2, 2025 start date, assuming a 60-day notice period. Later, my current employer confirmed my last working day as July 2, citing quarter-end constraints and refused early release. 🚫

I informed HR at the new company and provided proof, but they seemed upset and said they’d discuss internally. Since then, no update. ⏳

I’ve completed all pre-onboarding and haven’t applied elsewhere. Is my offer at risk? Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Anybody else have a desire to bill more hours on a project than you actually work when the project itself is incredibly frustrating? In agency and/or freelance? Because let’s be real, 1 hour of standard work does NOT equal 1 hour of work when someone makes your job incredibly difficult.

What are the chances of getting a job offer from a Canadian organization while working in India?

I just got an offer from a company that I have mixed feelings about. Team seems great but Glassdoor reviews, not so much. I’m currently interviewing with a couple of other companies that are amazing and would be my too choices. However, I’m very early in the process so it will probably take a month or so to get to the offer stage with them. I don’t want to fall between two chairs for not taking this offer and then not getting any from other companies. What should I do? Best strategy?
