Curious why most (not all) Desi people move to Desi suburbs and don’t live in the city or suburbs close to the city but not desi? My partner and I love being in the city but literally know 2 other couples who live close by. Everyone else is in desi suburbs. It feels like everyone has gotten so down on advertising. You can still make great work for great brands at great agencies. You can still do things you’re proud of. And fill your portfolios with beautiful things. And have great impact. And collect shiny awards and enjoy great after parties after it. And see your commercials on TV during the Super Bowl. It’s still a great way to make a living if done right. And craft services is still tasty. You just have to make the right career moves.
