This was done like a guarantee that I would stay for long term. While i definitely found that a little off, I did a little asking around and found that quite a few institutions require this. Why have people normalised this?

Do you feel that in SEO there are too many ways of conducting the same tasks. I have had a string of managers within the past year, it’s starting to get very annoying as each person says method A is wrong and B is right, another manager would have the complete opposite view.
