I am currently a safety engineer and am looking for new opportunities, I have worked as a mechanical engineer and want to get back into that field, however the only roles recruiters are reaching out about are for safety positions and the only applications I am getting traction on are for safety positions.
Does anyone have any advice or tips for how to adjust my career path? I don't want to get stuck working in the safety field for the rest of my career.

Does everyone have a refrigerator from the mid 2000s in the garage that they use to store drinks? 

How fair is it for the firms to pay different salaries for the same work in different countries? or lower salaries to employees from the developing nations even though they might be working directly with the client or leading projects?
Cost of living is definitely one factor but how would you counter when a Consultant from Mexico and a Consultant from US want to go on a vacation to UK?

Actually there is one management group based in kolkata. They are offering me vendership for call center executive. But they are asking initial 1k per candidates for the insurance purposes. Insurance for assets they are providing like Mobile etc .

But I didn't connected with them via linkdin only. Can I trust them or they might be the fake one. I'm in very big confusion guys. I needed your suggestions.

I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?
