I am currently working in a non-IT role and also.do not hold an MBA degree.
I have only completed BCA and have 7.5 years of experience, with a CTC of 18.5 LPA.
I would like to understand whether my compensation aligns with my experience or if I am underpaid, and whether I am at a disadvantage due to not having a B.Tech or MBA.
Additionally, should I pursue an MBA or focus on enhancing my skills, as most peers with similar experience with B.tech or MBA degree earn 15–30 LPA?

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead.
