I known about a great place in Mar a Lago!
Love Mar-a-lago! It's a little pricey. $1m initiation and $2k/night

You may want to look a little further north in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or Jupiter. Most communities in MIA-FLL (further south) are older, full-time residential, and weren’t built with clubhouses and amenities. But many newer ones are also gated and may not be conducive to renters, since identity/tags/stickers for vehicles and club access are usually needed.
About to put our house in Evergrene, Palm Beach Gardens on the market. Club house, pool, pickleball, Audobon Community. Lots of families. High schools (public and private) very close
Very generous FB discount this week only!
I live full time in palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter. Family friends love Bonita Bay north of Naples. There are some great neighborhoods around here if you want to be 1-1.5 hours north of Miami. We greatly prefer it for our kids.
One caveat is that almost every community I know will have restrictions against short term rentals, especially ones where younger families are congregating.
Have you considered the Villages?
A family friend lives in the Shadowwood development of The Brooks in Bonita Springs. The country club there has some pretty amazing expansion plans. And it is definitely the demographic you noted.
