Which Big 4 is “best” for digital consulting for asset & wealth management clients?

Hello Sharks!! I'm looking for career opportunities in early stage VCs/Privare equity firms. I'm a qualified CA and CFA L2 candidate, I'm currently working as a transaction valuations professional associated with one of the big 4. Any relevant leads/referrals would be much appreciated and helpful.

Is $92k for a Big 4 Chicago tax manager low?

Two years ago, I had an affair with a married man, a partner at a big 4 who was really sweet (and obviously toxic). Met at a bar in April … it was off and on until November (plus one night in December that ended very badly). I was in an awful place mentally and emotionally in my life, and sort of just blew up my life. I even quit my job (no, we didn’t work together), no notice, couldn’t get out of bed….. Hi! I have 6 years of experience in tax from b4 and am a CPA. I did depart from b4 but I’m willing to boomerang for the right opportunity. I want to pivot to sustainability, preferably consulting, to work on high impact projects with clients. Any recommendations on how to upskill to make this transition? Everybody here is reiterating the same thing like it will wil be announced by April end , may mid , May end, June start etc... just why ? Im doing good work at Deloitte, have excellent and supportive network and am leading or part of innovative engagements. I also happen to like the firm. However I am starting to get a lot of offers from industry, average TC of these offers are at 1.5x to 2x of my current pay. Could use the money, but also am afraid of being laid off during recession and or not going for partnership at Deloitte. Should I start planning my exit?

Think I’m going to get an offer for a Technical Program Manager role. It’s way outside my field of expertise and takes me from a leadership role to the bottom of the ladder. I’d fill some skills gaps that have made it harder to move to a large tech company, but I’m also much better at higher level work than I am at execution. Currently at 150k TC in Midwest. TPM role would require me to move to CA and has a base of 180-190k. Unclear about the rest of the benefits. Thoughts?

JPMorgan Chase folks, how long does it take after accepting the offer/contract to getting contacted by the premployment screening team ? I have been waiting for a week now but I was told it is triggered automatically after 24hrs to 48 business hours after the acceptance. I have called my recruiter and they said I should check my spam folder which had nothing. Any indications here ?
