I am looking for work in the social work field. I have my bachelor's in Human Services as well as my Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification in California. What I don't have is experience other than volunteering. I've been in trouble with the law in the past, mainly for drug possession but the last time was 2018. Since then I've stayed on the straight and narrow and haven't even gotten a speeding ticket. My mom thinks my past is my biggest obstacle. I don't think so. Thoughts?
