I am looking to make a move to a UX team that needs a strong senior manager or even manager if the opportunity is tight. I have 15+ years of experience and am based in Chicago. Any suggestions?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

Thoughts on making a move from strat consting to
a) joining a vc (investment team)
VS
b) doing 2+ years as a product mgr/s&o forst before moving to vc?

Context: 1-2 years in strat consulting, couple software CDDs under the belt as well as pricing and gtm engagements

We are recruiting for two UX Research roles for a financial services company that is based in the Boston area but the client is allowing 100% remote.

They are most interested in someone have a strong case studies coupled with Lean UX Methodology in their thinking.

Both jobs are at $130+ bonus and seeking 5-7 years of experience. Also, U.S. work authorization is required.

Has anyone seen any unique places to find UX portfolios or post jobs other than the usual suspects?
Some UX Slack channels were doing well for a while but I definitely don’t see as much traction there. Meetups obviously came and went. Even the portfolio sites like Dribbble and Behance don’t seem that same.
