Depends a lot on the department and the company. Smaller departments actually seem better about this because they have to be competitive in what they offer.
Yes. There are always pros and cons, but I recommend at least seeing what that smaller company has to offer.
Is an inspiring story, but I think it’s not the norm. I think it’s rare to find an HR or upper management professional who cares about their team enough to work this hard for them.
I understand what you are saying and I have heard that HR isn't for the employees, but for the company.
