Hi fishes - I’m with an MBB as a 2y Partner looking to move to B4, for a bunch of reasons. In active conversations with two of them. While compensation levels seem similar for now, the other posts on this bowl suggest we end up making more at B4 than MBB. (Referring to the 1.5M number of a y4 partner at b4).

Folks, need some advice here. I got my hike letter at Unilever and it looks like the hike is only on the basic salary (as per the letter) and not on entire fixed (basic + hra + other). L2- on 12th Oct
Hr called on 13th Oct. Asked for details like exp ctc, yoe and np. At the end he asked some time to come with final figure. It's been 2 days. No updates after that. Also, once I told my expected ctc 7LPA for 3.2 yoe. He didn't ask for negotiations too. How long is good to wait before asking the hr.

When hired as an athletic coach, does your position state “temporary?” Even if coached at the same school for several years.. It doesn’t make sense to me that coaches are year-to-year. Doesn’t help athletes. Since the CSEA got it approved that classified employees need to go through the same steps as certificated employees, regarding layoffs. LACOE wants to have coaches not be considered classified or certificated, just temporary. With no Union, no voice, no respect, no appreciation, no rights.

I just started at an advertising agency as a PM. I feel lost and not supported & very micro-managed, I feel like I am always doing something wrong. During my 1:1 with my managers, they send me meeting recaps of the meetings (is this normal?) and always calling me out. Ex. EXPERIENCE: 1 year SEO, 3 years data analyst
COUNTER-OFFER: 87k same benefits
REASON 1: programming skills which I use on the job (SQL, R, Google Apps Script). Aka I do more than SEO.
REASON 2: I’ve received multiple other offers for data analyst jobs paying 85k-100k
