Maybe it's just me but somewhere along the way it stopped feeling like a professional network and started feeling like another social media platform 😭 The inspirational stories that sound made up. The humble brags. The scam jobs. The "I hired someone because they held the door open" posts. But sometimes I scroll and wonder what's real and what's content. What is revenge Job Hopping?

It is a phenomenon observed when a candidate frequently jumps job in order to have a market correction to his salary.
Say person A got settled in his job for 5 years and his current salary is 7lpa..He joined at 4 lpa.
Now for his experience, he can be paid upto 30 lpa for the role.
So after switching for 13 lpa.. He keeps job hopping from 13-19 and 19-28 within a year where he finally feels he is paid adequately.
