I got a promotion in November. It was not announced at the time, I was told it would be announced with some other changes soon. That was two months ago. Should I announce it myself?

Personally, I wouldn't. It could be seen as presumptuous. They may also need to inform other related parties before it gets announced.

Oh, absolutely! At least you can console yourself with cash! Hopefully they announce it soon, and congratulations on your promotion.

like

Definitely not. That will not come across the way you intend it to. Leave that to leadership to determine and be thankful for the promotion.

No way. You would get very little benefit from doing that but there would be a whole lot of drawbacks. Even if they are taking their sweet time, it is still up to management to handle it when they are ready.

I decided to just casually change my job title in my signature line. No announcement, but if anyone is paying attention they will notice.

People have started asking me about the change in job title (it shows up in the company system in addition to my signature line), and I just let them know I got a promotion.

So, you’ve reached the stage of your career where you care more about cashing a fat paycheck than making “creative ads”. I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!
