I have a total of 5.5 years of experience with current CTC as 11.5 lpa.
I have a offer from Infosys of 17 lpa
But my company wants to retain me and they are giving me an opportunity for Canada onsite in return of retention(no raise or bonus)
Please suggest me, if i should take the onsite opportunity or keep looking for counter on my current offer.
I have 70 days of Notice Period left.

Barclays HR do not negotiate & just convey the amount that they can offer you. Based on the project budget & on the expected CTC that you would have mentioned on the email to HR, they usually come back with an amount around 1-1.5 lakh less than what you expect. Have seen this scenario with almost 4-5 of my friends who just had offers released by Barclays.
Edit: Based on your tech stack, YOE & CCTC, you can ask for around 23-25L.
I too got an offer from Barclays. Based on their project budget & interview feedback, they provide you the CTC. For me I didn't ask for a specific figure but got a good one as per my expectation. I feel it might be beneficial if you have any existing offer beforehand while negotiating with Barclays HR.
You should get around 24/25.. Do let us know how much they agreed to provide

Hey.. can you please let me know how much variable pay is there in Barclays? I got call and they are saying they can give 22.25 as fixed and there is variable as well but she haven't shared any % of CTC we will get as variable
