I got rehired as an Medical Assistant PRN from a former employer. I was told that they will be sending my offer letter through email. It’s been 1 week. Then I got an email stating “ After careful review, however, you are currently not eligible for rehire or transfer. At this time, we are unable to pursue this employment opportunity with you.” What does that mean? I all ready accepted the offer verbally, on the phone, to the hiring Manager. Is this legal?

How have you seen telehealth and virtual care affect the admin side of the industry?

Working in a large health system as a quality professional WFH. I rarely see anyone else on my team, and when I do present findings I see no changes happening. Maybe they’re happening and I just don’t have a role in that oversight but the motivation to keep going is whittling down to nothing. I’ve been in healthcare for years but graduated with a masters in last two years and was hoping for something different. I have been applying to so many jobs and not many calls back. Any advice ?
