I definitely think that way at times. I try to be an optimist, but there are times when I really get concerned with what we're seeing. If energy prices go out of control, we could all be in a lot of trouble fairly quickly. The job market has been awful since last year, and it doesn't look like this year will see it turning around. So for now it comes down to keeping my head down and working away and not worrying about making any big moves.

I recognise that feeling. When the headlines are uncertain, even confident people start thinking twice about big career moves. I try to focus on what I can control, building skills and staying ready, rather than letting the news dictate every decision.
