I have a total of 6.5 years of experience in performance testing. I'm now looking to expand my skill set and grow my career in the areas of Performance Engineering and SRE. I'm considering enrolling in a course offered by Isha Training Solutions titled "Performance Engineering for Java, Python", which is priced at ₹9,900.

Has anyone taken this course or heard feedback about it? Would you recommend it as a good investment for learning and career growth?

Anyone in Corp Dev M&A? Received verbal offer today and it was a total boner killer that sounds non negotiable. Offer came thru random guy in HR vs hiring mgr/director and seriously considering going around hr cause the guy sounded lazy asf.@

Would like to understand market comp for in office CD roles, 4+yrs m&a experience and 25-40 advisories under belt. It’s an F500. Basically a pay cut of like 60-75% lol, idk if they’re testing me or serious. Edit: Happy to give any additional details.

I have been approached with an opportunity at JP Morgan Chase for their private client advisor role. The book is about 30M all in. I am currently an experienced hybrid asset manager wholesaler and have experience in advising as well. Curious about the opportunity with JPM and if it’s worth it. I currently make about 160k and if JPM would give me a high draw for the first 3 years to build, and if it’s feasible to sustain that 160+ there.

Guys, I possess 8yrs experience in technical field/software development. I have done B.tech from tier-3 college & have worked mostly in service based MNCs.

I would like to know what would be the path if I would like to move to VP(technology)/CTO role in the long run.

As I have not done PG & even graduated from tier-3 college, are there any additional courses which can boost & add value to my profile?

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?
