I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter.My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual.We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?

I read a few posts regarding the same(for them the bgv was in progress even after their LWD and got the unconditional offer letter after bgv clearance update), they release the unconditional offer letter once they get the bgv clearance report from the bgv vendor.
As per hireright the partner for it they have sent the report as per the live chat but I guess the vetting team is still working on it. In this case if it's post DOJ is the offer still valid in workday.
Bdw what is the bgv status of vendor? Is pending from vetting team?
Then dont worry this happens with lloyds in week or next week u will get onboarding details
once bgv is completed in BG check partenr portal post that u get offer letter and that is usually mid of week prior tojoining..so dont sweat if u dont have anything to hide
In call it was told my joining is delayed by a week as BGV is not completed,
did u try reaching HR?
Have been trying to connect and sort it incase of the delayed joining was offer letter resent with revised date

Have you tried reaching out to HR once again? What did they say if you are able to contact them?
HR is checking with team.
You should check with HR for a reason for the delay and infact ask for compensation for the delay equalient to the amount of salary + expenses done for flight booking, hotel bookings, etc
