Feedback a toxic male peer (that thinks he is above you)? This was our first call (+3ppl). His introduction round took 10/45min about himself and what he thought of the meeting topic (before I introduced myself). I was firm and polite to say we needed to keep time. He told me to “hold on” and continued talking. I let him finish his sentence and talk for ~3min. When done he says “sorry I was texting, could you pls repeat?”. This is someone I will have to work with. Should I address it now? Not?

I thought I really wanted to be a chemical engineer but the reality of the day to day has been disappointing to say the least… is this a common sentiment for a first job? Do I just have to keep going to get somewhere interesting?

I’m hoping to steer clear of any scams by posting & I know it’s been posted before but, again, scams. I've been seeing a lot of ADCOLOR posts on linkedin, and some of the people who are liking and reposting it are some of the same people who were blatantly racist and rude to me when I worked with them. I wish there was something I could say/do about it, but it's literally making my blood boil seeing them like posts about "uplifting" and "supporting" BIPOC, only because I know that once they get off their screens and they're the meanest people
