Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?

10 years of experience, I'd expect to see 2 pages.
Length doesn't really matter if the content sucks.
Figure out 3-5 solid valuable bullet points per role, THEN decide what to shave off.
A skills section is NOT a must-have, especially if it says things like "consulting, negotiating, communication," etc.
Two pages. Unless govt contractor then up to 16-17 is fine.
As long as it's tight and relevant, it's pretty normal after 10 years to hit 2 pages
Summary is gross unless explanation/narrative needed for major transition. Cut and bring to 1 page. Skill explanations can also be built into bullets for jobs, trimming skill section to a simple list.
