How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

Those are long hours. Is this a big box chain?
Do you start work at 4:30 as well, or she comes in before you? What are your shift hours. And legally, depending on where you are located you are required to take a certain amount of breaks. I'm assuming this isn't a big box chain, since just one manager has so much power. Is it a smaller business?
State laws differ but as long as you're being paid for every minute you work, there's very little that can be done in a right to work state. I would research the specific labor laws (federal and state) and see what she may be violating.
Technically like everyone else is saying you are required to take breaks. It does depend on the job. I know I work several jobs. I have to take my breaks in between customers. I cannot stay away from the desk for so long due to being the only person. I've only seen breaks given when you are working with other people. These are usually big business.
