I hope someone can help. A close friend who just joined an IB. During the onboarding process they were asked about any previous arrests, etc. They were arrested, charges were totally dismissed and their record expunged. The arrests aren't relevant at all to their work.

State says most disclose only under very narrow circumstances, none apply to their IB job. Llaw clearly states than can legally say they weren't arrested. Background checks were totally clean. Should they disclose?

LMAO what do Afro Latinos look like? I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look". So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?
