I intend to move from Kerala to Bengaluru for 30-35% hike from a Big4 to Accenture. Is it worth, I see the expenses for school, rent, transportation will increase 3 times. What's the matching hike I can ask, current CTC is 37 LPA. I'm already manager and they offer L7-Manager.

Pls state your YoE and tech stack / role.
Also, ask your employer if they can match the salary. Even if they match 20-25% that would be a great deal for you. Moving to a bigger city from your home town for not much of a hike won't make sense in the majority of cases.
Thanks, YoE-16, Finance consulting. Var pay-30% but actuals will be just half is what I'm hearing. Need some better clarity
They should be able to give around 45 for L7, but that will include a 27% variable. So do your math. If your current fixed is 37, then you are at a loss, because Accenture is notorious for paying hardly 50% variable amount.
