I just got out of a meeting with a prospect and a male colleague. Even though I got the meeting, the prospect kept addressing all questions to my male colleague. My male colleague, to his credit, kept saying, Well, this is her meeting. But the prospect didn’t stop. It was so uncomfortable! Has this happened to you?

I do notice a tendency of clients to lean more towards a male coworker when it comes to conversations or questions. Believe that a lot of them do it subconsciously, but after being told multiple times who is running the show, you think they would stop doing it!

That is really awesome of your male coworker to do. That's exactly how these situations should be handled, but most male coworkers I've worked with have been more than happy to take all of the attention and ignore the obvious sexism.

I am working as React Develpor in IBM ISL(India software Labs ) with decent WLB. Recently got an offer from EY GDS with 30 percent hike. Role : Senior Technical lead .
Being a married female, i am little bit concerned about WLB in long term.
I have heard in EY they tag you in more than 1 project.
How is the quality of work and team management .
