Need advice: Got an $135 + bonus offer for Citi Avp position. I have 6 years experience (finance/cpg/ data analytics/ ML) I was hoping to get at least a VP role with a bit more pay. The HR recruiter said l'm at the top of the range for AVP and I'm having mixed reviews about the Citi culture. I’ve been interviewing for sometime and getting a bit more discouraged/self doubting myself since I got so many rejections. Should I keep on interviewing? Is Citi culture as what they say?

Hi. I have 20+ years of experience both in consulting and in-industry. I have a contact at McKinsey that I connected with that is willing to make an introduction/referral for me. A few questions: 1). What level should I be targeting. What options are there to move into consulting but not the typical post-MBA consulting role? Looking for some advice about my current job situation. Being moved to a new position after the first of the year and this will entail management of a department. No discussion on increasing salary but the expectations are extremely high for this position. I have already been managing this department by default off and on for a year. It is severely understaffed and VP and rest of upper management do not recognize the problems this causes. I am thinking about looking for something else.

Question for the FB crowd - A COO of a company reached out to me on LinkedIn asking if I’d be interested in a VP position. Is it kosher to respond saying thanks but not looking for VP level roles and are looking for a C-suite opportunity? COO and I have almost same YOE (12-15). I’m already at an SVP equivalent level. Or do you think it can come across as being a pompous dick? Lol. TIA!
