I’ve always had a little space heater under my desk. There are tiny ones that work quite well. Heated blankets and heating pads are also great.

Fleece everything. Fleece-lined leggings if you’re wearing dresses, fleece, cashmere or shearling sweaters, a wool cape to throw over shoulders or legs. Uggs sell handwarmer gloves without fingers so you can type.

Newish to data analytics. Have some experience in power BI, sql, and R. I wanted to get some exposure to aws and saw the AWS cloud practitioner as an available course at my job. Is this cert worth it? Or should I try one of the more advanced ones ? The data analytics one for example but wasn’t sure if it would be difficult to get through as a beginner. Will it look good on my resume?

Looking for a soundboard.
Expecting parent, 35yo, NW of $1.2M with investment property in my hometown in Europe near family & friends (mortgage is less than $1k). Current expenses in Bay Area is 5K a month, probably more once baby comes.
Thinking of leaving Bay Area in 2 years and semi-retire for a few years in Europe, focusing on parenting and freelancing.
