I live in SoCal and am planning to fly to India for a week this winter; plan to do another 7-10 day trip before flying back to SoCal. Flying with spouse and two young kids (6 and 2). Looking for recommendations. Given kids’ ages, we’re looking for places where we can mostly drive around (and admire scenic beauty) and maybe hike a little, as needed. Hi there, I had a question about 401k or Roth IRA. Should I put money into anyone of the two as an international student? I don’t see the point because I want to invest my money instead of saving it. Interviewed for Deloitte S&A Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got a much higher offer for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but need time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.
