Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

Have you tried running your resume through one of those ATS checkers? I did after a friend recommended it to me and found out my resume was pretty bad from a technical standpoint. Might be worth doing just to make sure you're giving yourself the best chance at getting your application seen.
Did they ever give you any feedback about why you're not getting the job? Have you ever asked for areas of improvement after you get a rejection? If not, I would recommend doing that to get some idea about how you can improve.

I like these questions because it’s so important to get feedback on what you are not getting hired at the companies you’re applying to. It will help a lot to know what you need to improve while on an interview. Also, practice makes you better prepared for the next interview that you may have line up in the future.

Hang in there! It can be really frustrating, especially after putting in all the effort. Keep going with the applications and interviews, sometimes it just takes one opportunity to click. Also, consider tweaking your resume or practicing common interview questions; small adjustments can make a big difference!
I'm a previous chef, stopped working in kitchens to be with my daughter at night. I know this feeling and it's sucks. I'm sorry you're going through this.
I would suggest going to a temp agency so you can apply to jobs in a more relaxed manner while working temp jobs. Temp jobs could also lead to a permanent position which could be a win win.
Other than that, there is the department of human resources which could help you with job training, finding a position and resume work.
I hope this was helpful. Keep up the work though, it's good to keep busy. Make sure you take care of your mental well being as well as your health. Nervous energy can be a killer, try to stay excited about going to an interview and the many opportunities you might find. I'm happy to see you're reaching out to talk about it.
This is tough. What is your industry and position?
Sometimes finding a recruiter that can help coach you and give feedback is helpful.
Here are a couple of tips to think about.
1. Remain positive, both in this process and in the actual interview. Never bring up bad culture at a previous job, a bad boss or ANYTHING negative. It’s a huge red flag. Instead these were always great learning opportunities you had and came away with tools to know what you are striving for in your next position.
2. Know your Values. At the end of the day, YOU are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you. Ask pointed questions and assess whether this is a position that aligns with your core values.
3. Think outside the box. If you aren’t getting any traction with what you are currently doing…….what else is out there? Try looking for a job in a different, or slightly adjacent field.
And remember,
Everything in life happens FOR us. (Not to us)
This is a hurdle you will overcome and be stronger after the journey. you will find your perfect fit, hang in there.

ADT is hiring
Do you have experience in security officer job. Or do you interact with the public if you do. Redo your application and change it too more communication skills and helping people. The job is called Dothan Security Incorporated. DSI apply today and be trained in at least a week or two. Income varies in different States if America but you can start there if that helps hunny. I hope you laid this job. Good luck suga.
Honestly, show up places in person. We've hired a lot of people that way because they've shown their face!
My good friend is in the same position. Right now he's taking seasonal off jobs to make ends meet & gig work to A) build his resume + stay busy & B) to keep money in his pocket. In a position like that you'll have to network, family & friends getting back and forth & have a focused plan. I would use chat gpt to develop SMART goals with a reasonable time frame. You're in a tough spot, but with community you can get through it. Best of luck to you
You’ve got to follow up. Make it easy for them to hire you, keep calling or showing up until you get an answer.
concert venues - like the casinos - they need security....and they're always hiring...for something. Best of luck.
I’ve done more than security though, most my background consists of restaurants and hospitality
Thank you everyone 🙏🏾 I will definitely look into everything you guys mentioned. I am willing to do and try anything that will help me land a job.
I recently left a decent-paying job with toxic culture for a better-paying one, and then got sick as a dog and got cut from the training program.
Keeping in mind that I haven’t been unemployed for over a decade, I was in a bit of a rush to find something.
I got my current job by showing up and asking if they needed a dishwasher, and it just happened that two of their dishwashers had quit recently. Still had to do the “apply online” dance, but they hired me on the spot.
Just goes to show, you never know. Sometimes just being there at the right time and asking the question is all it takes.
