I recommend looking into YouTube videos about Public Relations, Brand Management, and Public Speaking, because PR is ultimately all about professional reputation for people and businesses.
Also, search “How to talk like a CEO”, and “How to discipline in the workplace” on YouTube.
This should give you a foundation, I hope.

Those guys of people who are mean to a cashier or customer service rep just doing a job are miserable and just looking for a confrontation. The easiest way to deal with that is to ignore them. I know the first instinct is to react to give yourself satisfaction that you didn’t let them treat you disrespectfully, but as you said this can get you into a lot of trouble. I know it’s not environment to respond, however, “looks can kill“
You can say things respectfully and still get your point across. There are actually several people on TikTok that I follow who teach ways to communicate what you really mean in a corporate environment. I’d suggest checking out some of those accounts.
Maybe you could look into a soft skills program? There are multiple channels you could explore on YouTube, or you could even find a course on Coursera. It helped me a lot to do that for my career.
